Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets out the basis which Flying Cape Pte Ltd (we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data of users in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).
Collected Information
i. when you submit any request, including but not limited to customer inquiry forms or other enquiry relating to any of our services;
ii. when you enter into any agreement or provide other documentation or information in respect of your interactions with us,
iii. when you request that you be included in any email or other mailing lists,
iv. when you submit an employment application or when you provide documents or information including your resume/CVs in connection with a job application,
v. when your images are captured by us via CCTV cameras while you are within our premises, or via photographs or videos taken by us or our representatives and/or agents when you attend our events;
vi. when you are contacted by, and respond to, our Company representatives and customer service officers;
As part of our business arrangements, we may process personal data on behalf of our Corporate Customers. In such cases, we agree to only process and use the data strictly for the purposes of fulfilling our contractual obligations and abide by this Policy.
You have choices regarding our collection, use or disclosure of your personal data. If you choose not to provide us with the personal data described, we may not be in a position to process your request such as Job Application/Employment and/or other Services. You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and withdraw your consent in the manner described in “Withdrawing Your Consent” section listed below.
Use of Personal Data
In line with the legitimate interests’ exception, we will collect, use or disclose your personal data for the following purposes:
a. Fraud detection and prevention;
b. Detection and prevention of misuse of services;
c. Network analysis to prevent fraud and financial crime, and perform credit analysis; and
d. Collection and use of personal data on company-issued devices to prevent data loss.
Cookies
Whenever you interact with us or our website, Flying Cape may place a “cookie” in the browser files of your computer. Cookies are data files that help your browser communicate with your website.

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following
i. The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
ii. The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete the information you believe is incomplete.
iii. The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
iv. The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
v. The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
vi. The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
In the event you do not wish to consent to the processing of your Personal Data or wish to withdraw your consent, you can make a request to dpo@flyingcape.com.sg.
For such requests, we will process your own Personal Data for verification purposes and may conduct verification checks with you. Please note that once we have processed your request, we will no longer be able to:
i. Provide comprehensive information to any requests or queries regarding any information or past transactions.
ii. Promote or recommend products or services that might be suitable for you.
iii. Provide updates on any changes or notify matters necessary or relevant to products/services provided to you.
iv. Update you on upcoming events and promotions.
Protection of Personal Data
To safeguard your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate administrative, physical and technical measures.
You should be aware, however, that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While security cannot be guaranteed, we strive to protect the security of your information and are constantly reviewing and enhancing our information security measures.
Accuracy of Personal Data
We generally rely on personal data provided by you (or your authorised representative). In order to ensure that your personal data is current, complete and accurate, please update us if there are changes to your personal data by informing our Data Protection Officer in writing or via email at the contact details provided below.
Retention of Personal Data
We may retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws.
We will cease to retain your personal data, or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected, and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
Transfers of Personal Data Outside of Singapore
We generally do not transfer your personal data to countries outside of Singapore. However, if we do so, we will obtain your consent for the transfer to be made and we will take steps to ensure that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that provided under the PDPA.
Third Party Privacy Policies
Flying Cape’s Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or third-party websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.
